About the Awards

CEAL celebrates its fifth year in 2009. To mark this milestone CEAL is establishing an awards program to recognize excellence in assisted living practices, policies, and research. CEAL will recognize the award winners at a special celebration to be held in Washington, DC on October 27, 2009.

Awardees will receive a certificate commemorating and recognizing their work of excellence. In addition, CEAL will showcase the winners' work of excellence in a webinar that addresses the award (e.g., person-centered care, workforce) category. The award winning practice, policy or research will also be included in CEAL's Clearinghouse Practices of Excellence.
