The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund (NBCC) is pleased to announce the second year of this request for proposals for grants of $5000 for 501C3 and/or 501C4 organizations that are current NBCC member organizations. These grants are intended to assist organizations in advancing grassroots advocacy in local communities towards our mission of ending breast cancer through the goals of research, access and influence.
NBCC is a powerful, diverse grassroots network of hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of individuals from across the country that have come together under one umbrella to give breast cancer a meaningful voice in Washington, DC and state capitols, in laboratories and health care institutions. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, NBCC empowers advocates to be effective in every aspect of the fight to end breast cancer.
NBCC's nationwide network of grassroots activists has been an essential and central component of our advocacy success. It is their commitment, dedication and outstanding work that has enabled NBCC to effectively advance its work in research, access and breast cancer public policy. This grassroots network is far reaching; groups and organizations from nearly every state have joined NBCC to participate in advocacy efforts directed at ending breast cancer. NBCC member organizations are effective partners in advocacy because they have members who care deeply about breast cancer and are willing to stand up and make their voices heard. NBCC advocates are informed, involved, outspoken, and voting constituents across the country.
